Almost got away with it today - but it still rained just before dusk ..
But today was a day for cleaning the Vectra out after standing for 6 months, and for taxing it for the new year, and getting ready for Curious Pastime Event 1 tomorrow. Somehow not finding the froth - but never know what happens when I get there. It has been 25 years of my life.
But walked the dogs with no ritual to learn, so decided to take a lot of photos of the walk known (to me) as the Donkey Trail.. Sadly no Donkeys at the end of it .. Will post those pictures when they are a real.
Meanwhile, cleared the Duck shed, checked the lower quarter and covered up the log splitter after the wind had blown the covers off.
Think I have most stuff put together for tomorrow - we shall see! Trying to travel little lighter this year.
Meanwhile Susie found a newly drying out Damsel Fly on the Rhubarb..
And a new addition to the springs - we now have a crocodile protecting the wildlife
And the neighbours do not seem to mind
