8th February 2023 - Getting back into the swing of it

Thought for the day : "I just finished painting every room in the house, it took months. The Estate agent said I should have just taken photographs."

So, we are into February and so we have decided that January will be our "let's not do anything " month and by Feb we need to start thinking about getting back into work mode...

Took the cover of the Landie today and she started first time - though I think the battery was pretty low!  But a trip to Beulah will have put some juice back into her ..

And so - another 5 pallets - start of the new projects..  

Meanwhile - the challenge of the "shed"  is ongoing ..  Managed to get two work benches fitted along one wall by taking off the clamp at the end of one of the benches...   rest of the shed is still complete mayhem =- but as always we have to start in a corner and work outwards...

Meanwhile - inside Susie has decided that the downstairs bathroom needed to be renovated and given a coat of new paint - the walls are a little more yellow than we had thought form the tin - but it is fresh and will brighten and clean it up - Tomorrow will be the white gloss on the woodwork..

So another day - we are both full of aches and pains - must be something about being a little older than we were last year !!!

I note that it was today's date three years ago that we were told that Cwm ty Coed were withdrawing their sale - and we were set on a new direction - looking up this way...
