21st February 2023 - Training Weekend Report

Thought for the day :"Having a plan sounds like a good idea until you have to put on clothes and leave the house"

And so it comes time to write the Report Card from the Crimson Moon Training Weekend ..

a) Attendance.
A fair attendance with 9 members meeting their training commitment (though two were already in residence). Nice to see the enthusiasm of those here and thoughts were given to those not here which will not be listed  to protect the innocent.  Apologies from absentees included Work, Work due to not being at work, and non work related activities.
b)Orientation.
All attendees appeared to find the location without problem.
c)Training - Alcohol
All attendees passed the three training levels with merit - Recognition, Absorption, and Retention.
d)Training - Presentation
Attendees appeared to appreciate the demonstration of how to present a 'medley' of Maiden's Cream and all succeeded in suitable consumption. Vollsanger identified the approved decorum for drinking a MC - that of drinking with one hand while extending the little finger (Pinky) of the other hand at the same time as a sign of etiquette and dexterity.
d)Training - Banquets and International Relations
An excellent example of Internationality and care for staff requirements was provided by Miss P who provided an awesome repast with a Swedish Theme enabling her to be correctly entitled for future events as the Crimson Moon's own Swedish Chef and may saluted accordingly  (Oosh key boosh key boosh)
e)Training - Entertainment
All attendees proved very active with the use of humour in a punishing evening on Friday, with additional technical additions from Rachael between moments of hysteria  - followed by a late surge by Bruce on his arrival the next day. It seems that Mr V's influence is taking a solid foundation in all members of the team.
f)Training - Adaptability
All members showed that they were able to move from outside fire pit to inside Tavern almost seamlessly, indeed without any sign of spillage.
g)Training - Canine Cornucopia
A good representation from the Canine membership provided cuddles and an extra layer of warmth to team members...
h)Events
The sad demise of the existing Alcoluminatarium Flag upon the Flagpole provided a sombre and meaningful moment, filled with differing emotions as the new Flag was raised and a moment of silence was observed - and members drank heartily to the futre as they remembered the tired and ragged past.
i)Events
An agreement of the suitability and viability of the Crimson Moon holding an event on the weekend of the 1st July 2023 and an invitation to all of the Alcoluminati to be active participants in assisting in bar, plot, crew and general participation.  Further details to follow - but please check your diaries

Also worthy of Mention -
Generosity of those who brought gifts and sustenance for the weekend and to register the aging of Mr V.
The Widow Agnes,  Mum,  Sue ,  for feeding everyone
Mr V for breakfast

As a result of the successful completion of the training course by all members, with merit
each were then presented with their CMVQ5 (Crimson Moon Vocational Qualiification Level 5) MEADIATOR...

Recap
CMVQ Level 1 : Bar Steward
CMVQ Level 2 : Complete Bar Steward
CMVQ Level 3 : Serves you Right
CMVQ Level 4 : I Ffynnon Went
CMVQ Level 5 : Meadiator

Congratulations to all participants

Cheers !
