6th November 2022 - Wet and Windy

Thought for the day: "The Patron Saint of checking bread rolls before removing from the oven is St John the Bap Test"

Temperature dropped a lot last night but the day started not too badly, though the rain was regular.
Decided to walk the dogs in any case as Susie was feeling under the weather with her headaches again and unusually for her has spent the day in bed again - but we went for a walk in the rain - and it was a little wet !

Following the recent storm, the tree has fallen across the second bridge. Neighbours tell me to leave it to the council so we are reporting it and seeing what happens

Meanwhile, the dogs were a little wet and enjoyed a good towelling and being wrapped up for a while.

In other news - though it was Sunday we had a delivery of the new glass carriers for the Tavern - and without trying - they turn out to be Green Ones!!

Our newly cut hedges provide a backdrop for yet another rainbow today ..

In other work - closed the second bedroom up and restored Susie's Sewing room for the winter period.

In other news again
tried to find out why the Crimson Moon does not appear in "Check In" facilities on Facebook and Instagram despite being on Google Maps and clearly marked ...
Hoping for some replies from those on the Facebook

We shall see if we can get it fixed before next year.

Cheers !
