Things are getting ready to lock down further
We are not too bad here in West Wales - but London still seems to be stupid...
Walked the dog on Furrace Ponds ... and had the intention of staying ion the rest of the time - but sadly we had some panic calls from Vic - his bread had gone mouldy and he suddenlty realised he didn't know where the shops were - which was just as well. Unfortunately he kept calling and so we could not phone him back...
On the good side - he worked out how to use the panic alarm and called the Care-Line people who also called us - So we went down - we had his shopping for tomorrow anyway - but we were able to settle him and get him a cup of tea - some fresh bread and make hissandwich.
Lack of Football and the prevalebnce of scare-mongering news does not help mental health at the moment ....
In other news BTBasic seems to still be having problems. Had another letter dated 1st April saying that Vic was not eligible because he did not have guaranteed credit or too late in the application which was the same situation as last time - even though I have sent a copy of his guaranteed credit - so sitting on 25 minutes to BT call centre to see if I can get an answer.. Not complaining about the wait - the fact that there are call handlers still doing the job is excellent as far as I am concerned and I am sure that they are under staffing pressures. No I have learned to be patient these days - I am not doing anything else except writing a blog.
Putting me on hold for a few minutes - ho hum !!!
Will tell the results tomorrow ..
