4th July 2024 - Contents of Duck Ponds and General Election (Same Content?)

Election day today so not a word of mention of Politics from me 

(Sitting at machine at 10pm waiting for New at Ten but apparently there is no news today while people are talking non stop on the TV with no chance of a result for at least another 4 hours !!!

But a busy day today ... partly in preparation for Tavern opening tomorrow 

Firstly it was time to empty and clean the Duck Pond..  it was a Green One !

And with the water out there is still 18 inches of silt and duck poo!

 

And this was the pool of sludge at the edges..

 

Will have to get the picture of the clean pond tomorrow when it has settled..  

While strimming around the peacock enclosure Dave and Rhys popped in to extend the stage area to add to the drum section I put in yesterday.

And the music system is installed and tested ..  and of course after all that - it rained !!

Without being political - apparently the Tory Drinking Game (take a shot every time the Tories lose a seat) is not advised due likelihood of alcohol poisoning....
