St Thomas of Accon in Carmarthen this evening and standing in as Deputy Marshal - but a good evening and buffet afterwards..

But the day started with a refusal to get up - well to wake up first and foremost.  Yesterday was a "get up early and get on with it day" but today just did not seem to have any impetus..

But got up and walked the dogs and then set to looking at the pond where Susie identified a few cracks that I had missed so another mix of sealant was used and then we reset Doris and a hosepipe to fill up.

Seems that there is still a hole a little further up than where I had patched - so we will try again tomorrow.   

But this place keeps on giving - in scraping the earth around the bridge it seems that there is a slate path underneath 

And as Susie was clearing some of the Rhododendron on the path by the waterfall, it became clear that the bushes were planted in terraces - you can just see the walled terraces through the foliage 

Meanwhile, before leaving for Carmarthen, it was time to empty the three backs of greenery and trim the edges by the Gate and  along the fence - a task that will still take more time

In other news 
The Amazon Scam Man called today, with a statutory foreign accent advising me that I should be concerned about my Amazon account.  Well it is Prime Day 1-18 July so it is a good bet that people have been using Prime and Amazon . However they got some things very wrong - apparently I placed an order at 9am that morning...    not likely even on a good day !!!   Also it was to buy an iPhone  - not me thank you very much - for £749 which is an interesting figure to choose . Have no idea what the scam was going to be - but at that stage I closed the call..
