It has been quite bright today - but the day started with a deluge and it looked as though we were dodging showers most of the day.
But the chicks are pipping - though only two so far, and none of the frizzles are stirring yet , and the chicken coop had to be cleared out.
Also the new coop comes tomorrow, so I went out to Newcastle Emlyn to get some concrete blocks for the base - and decided on getting some paving slabs to put down as well - it is so muddy.
Needed to have the area cleared ready for tomorrow.
Also decided that I did not know what size van the Shed people would be bringing tomorrow so emptied the last bag of stones. Didn't want to take them all the way down to the island which was under water again, so added it to the top paths.
In other news, popped in on Wendy and Mark on the way home to see what they had decided to do with the Crimson Moon Sign which has been had sadly not survived.
