Noah only had to deal with 40 days and nights of rain!

Up early today to start on the Duck and Chicken enclosure.

The netting has come down - a job that I have been meaning to do for many a month since the Avian Flu seems to have become a thing of the past - or rather a thing to live with - a bit like Covid I suppose..

The fence between the enclosures has also been removed to allow the erection of the new Chicken Shed on Wednesday.

The mud is still treacherous,  so the stepping stones had to be replaced and re-laid, and the rubber matting.

Still ready for a muddy dog...

Out this afternoon to pick up more layer pellets, chick crumbs as the chicks are due to hatch tomorrow, and some more coal, as the days are still chilly, 

Found a new app - or rather Nancy found it for me, called MERLIN,  it listens for birdsong and identifies the birds.
