Early start today to head off to Llanelli for the Ceremony of the Silver Trowel - in which I play the dying King David giving advise to his son Solomon...
It is a lovely ceremony that is only held once a year normally, and my first opportunity to participate.
All went well without prompt and was surprised to find that my return to the Lodge Room (I leave when I die) I was met with an applause - not seen that before !!!

In other news, our Peahen came back to the aviary today and Susie was able to feed it and let it back into the aviary. Looks good for being able to let them out in the Spring.
Will have to try to find where she got out last time . But we have a happy Fabio again.
