Thought for the day :"My dad drove a BMW, then, one day he left without any indication."
Wet
It is Wednesday so a Chris day ..
And we swanned off with the old armchair and a broken microwave down to the dump as we had the trailer behind. Went to Beulah to get some pallets for the new wood store but they had none - so as we returned form the dump we stopped at various locations to add 5 pallets to the trailer,
Down then to Will and Joy, and added 16 tin plate sheets for the roof.
Also took the opportunity of showing off Will's motorbikes as Chris is a bit of a fan.
Back to the homestead and put the back roof on
Will have to wait for Jan to get here or Chris next week for the remainder of the job.

The Passing of Richard Ross, one of my re-enactment friends occurred over the Tewkesbury Weekend
He was well remembered by his fellows and his ashes were scattered by cannon !!
The following was also read out after the cannon was fired .
In loving memory of Richard Ross , beloved husband of Michelle, proud father of Dave, Phi and Jared and proud father in law to Becky. The Baron Of The Company Of The Black Serpent for 22 years.
Richard was a kind, caring, smart, and thoughtful man. He was also so very brave and a fighter right till the very end. He is so greatly missed by his family, his group, the re-enactment family and friends. We will remember the good times and cherish all the memories. You can now finally rest in peace.
In honour of Richard, The baron Of The Company Of The Black Serpent we would like to share this poem.
Family Tree
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
“Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived
while I was strong.
Continue my heritage,
I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely
the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease,
my soul is at rest.
Remembering all,
how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions,
no matter how small.
Go on with your life,
don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly,
so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes
we’re together again.”
