Visit from Cat today and some work in the Garden.

Susie managed to cover the strawberries 

I cut the back path way and cleared the laurel leaves - as well as cutting down the road to make sure that the fairy lights are not cut by a council clearance..

Susie cleared Meerkat Mountain

And also cleared the heather and planted nasturtium, and fuchsia, abizzie lizzies at the top

30th May 2024 - Opening a new Branch..

Thought for the day :"I recently took a pole and found that 100% of the people in the tent were angry when it collapsed..."

Woke this morning to find that there was a branch down on the lane - time to get teh chain saw out and chop some firewood.

Took a trip down to Nancy's new house in Narberth today and disturbed them as they got on wit the painting of the bedrooms.

A little it of gardening for Susie as she fills the pots with bedding plants.

For the records, had a lovely couple visit us for the music evening and weekend and they gave me a card, and I gave it to Nancy as they live nearer to the trekking site - but they were interested in my records of the 2000 Millennium celebration taking Elvis Preseli - the stone - to Stonehenge - well we failed but it was an effort that started in their village .

Playing Catchup, collecting signs, and clearing the decks and glasses

Counted out the Charity Pot - £73.50

Took Daina and Alex up to Aberystwyth for the Fire in the Mountain Festival near Trawscoed.

But on the way we did a quick trip to Llangrannog

  

Meanwhile, the Chickens have decided to get nearer to the house and extend their domain

Getting near to our 4th Anniversary at the House and it hardly seems like it, though as we look back over the pictures it is clear that we have had an impact upon the landscape here. But we have managed to tame the land, build a Tavern, build a Stage Area, a Beer Garden, a walkway around the grounds with Dinosaurs, Giraffes, Fairies, Wizards, Owls and Flying Pigs, Doris is now a working fountain, and we can host at least 6 people in our Yurt, and spare rooms so are not wanting for company.

June is going to be busy with many visitors, and we may open the Tavern again in July before our trip to Germany in August for Mythodea.

Sometimes we just have to pinch ourselves as we sit looking out over our land.
