Sad day. 3 of the runner ducks disappeared in the night / morning. Searched the road and always up the river and over Moilyn Farm in case they had been chased off. Sadly no sign at all - no feathers or anything.
Other possibility was that a visitor dog from the Romany Caravan was running up the road this morning when Susie saw and caught it and took it back to the Caravan. It may have been in chasing them - a possibility - but no sign at bed time tonight.
Other than that - Susie spent most of the afternoon trying to find all the holes in the fencing to try to keep the chicken and ducks in.
I took the chain saw down to the lower quarter and used up one fuel amount chopping the longer branches and then split another set of the Ash logs.
