Thought for the day:"I haven’t seen my twin brother since I left Australia... We were separated at Perth."
Had a better sleep last night - indeed instead of staying asleep until 11.30am I managed to stay asleep until 1.30pm before the discomfort stared to become too much. That seems like a good way forward to me. My body in the past has always done its best to recover through just hibernating =- sadly this particular problem has prevented the sleep which normally allows the healing...
Hoping that we are now heading onto a recovery phase...
In other news - I am watching that more countries are now turning around and saying that they have doubts about the Oxford Vaccination - in this case because of a possibility of blood clots...
Call me suspicious - but it certainly seems that the mistakes made by Europe in not purchasing sufficient jabs in the first place has been replaced by decisions not to use it - so that the inefficiencies in getting their hands on has now been covered by decisions to only use other types of vaccine.
Personally, I will be happy to get my second jab as soon as we can and am delighted that I have had my first.
It seems that the UK is far more positive regarding use of vaccine... and this is one moment that I feel happier that we are out of Europe and the stumbling blocks and the Lags in progress...
Italy is re-introducing restrictions today - as we start on the road to a change from "stay at Home" to "stay local".
In other news.... took the walk up to Merry Meads today and had a chat with Trefor.
He reckons that our cockerel came form him originally and is a Araucana cross...
Some pictures form google suggest he may be right
this looks similar though this seems to be a Welsummer We shall see what the next batch look like
Took a walk down to Johnny and Kaye - where it seems Kaye is getting worse with her mobility - sadly we have got rid of most of our mobility aids ...
Decided to take a hike down the slope to meet the end of our land border in the lower quarter and follow that path back along the Leat...

And so - this afternoon's ask was to rebuild a wind chime that is now hanging in the Temple of Doris - maybe photos tomorrow ...
Cheers !
