15th December 2019 - Elections and Hospital Waiting

Thought for the day :"What you doing today? Nothing ! You did that yesterday! I didn’t finish!"

Seems Legit  ....

Still here in Barton. Waiting for Vic to wake, but did not seem to be happening so have given him a shout to get up so we can go to the hospital and check out his wrist.

Next door neighbour popped in to check that he was okay - which is great. They came in to try and sort him yesterday - when they were having a party for their daughter - good neighbours!

For the record - this is how Llanelli voted...

  • Nia Griffith (Lab) 16,125 (42.18%, -11.29%)
  • Tamara Reay (C) 11,455 (29.96%, +6.30%)
  • Mari Arthur (PC) 7,048 (18.43%, +0.21%)
  • Susan Boucher (Brexit) 3,605 (9.43%)
  • Lab majority 4,670 (12.21%)
  • 8.80% swing Labour to Conservative
  • Electorate 60,513; Turnout 38,233 (63.18%, -4.70%)
Which reminds me I haven't had a Trumpton for a while...

Right - off to a hospital - let's see what the waiting times are like down here

And what a good service there is for a minor injury - urgent care facility.
Seen within 15 minutes by a paramedic triage - x-ray within 25 minutes and cleared within another half hour - and they apologised for the wait... Luckily no bones broken as far as we can see from the x-ray, so a wrist splint to ease discomfort.

Cheers !
