Thought for the day :"Experts have announced that a family owned dog can bark up to 500 times a day. They have advised that this is only a ruff estimate."
Dry
Geraniums down from the buttresses but not trimmed yet - hoping the frost stays off tonight as it is clear and the temperature is falling fast. Keeping them sheltered in the Beer Garden but still a little open.
Susie trimmed the window boxes and they are now in the house.
Got to Brynhoffnant and had nasty whirring noise under the bonnet, and after a few hundred yards - the steering went and the ignition lights came on.
Guessing that the problem was the fan belt I coasted down to Tom and Jay, where lifting the bonnet showed that the belt had indeed come off the spindles. However it was not broken. Tom soon saw the problem. The Bearings upon the water pump had broken and the looseness had allowed the belt to slip.
Seems that it is not a huge job, and a pump is on order. Probably Thursday.
So it was the trip to Beulah for peahen food and coal and a cup of tea with Will.
Walked the dog and made a TillyVision.
Seems we have another EVRI delivery on the way - so decided to address the matter by a larger sign at the end of the road.
Cheers
