Thought for the day :"When I get something stuck in my throat, I just dislodge it with a cold beer. It's called, the Heineken Manoeuvre."
Wet
A mixed day - Susie woke with chest pains again which had started last night so it was a trip to Aberystwyth to A & E to get her checked out. All seems to be okay - which is neither helpful or satisfying as we still don't know what is causing the pain. Pain while laughing suggested that it could be muscular.. But Toby enjoyed the river at Aberystwyth and tried out the waves in the sea - not so sure about the white stuff.. (waves)

Some interesting foliage on the beach Susie will tell me what it is |
Popped home to put the ducks and chickens away - looks like we lost another duck - seem to only have seven at the moment and Eifion said he found a lot of feathers in the big field... Pity - we were getting better with 8 ...
Meanwhile - in other news - decided to post my farewell to Curious Pastimes to see whether they changed their minds that I was not really relevant for the atmosphere at event any more.. a lot of reaction - will see what happens tomorrow
With Renewal imminent I have decided to retire Vollsanger from the War Host.
A legacy of 25 years with some of the most creative and lovely friends, colleagues, LARP legends but all good things come to an end.
I want to express my grateful thanks to the Management - both Old and New, Event, Monster, Game, Media, Pip and all the Bynts in the Bar, indeed every player for giving an Old Bard the opportunity to play, support, entertain, annoy and enjoy the best company.
From the early days of the Storm Wolves, through the Wolves Kitchen, Crimson Moon Tavern, Susie and I were blessed with a huge support from everyone.
Good luck to everyone and may the Bard's Guild thrive and may songs and music continue to be an essential part of Curious Pastimes Atmosphere. 25 years ago I was told "don't bother bringing your guitar - we don't have that sort of thing in event". I am glad I ignored that advice and feel that I have had a small part to play in the development of the thriving culture that is the current CuPa.
