Glorious day today and I may have  caught the sun as most of it was spent out working in the homestead

Ready to start  - damn that thing is heavy - but very effective

So, built a bridge to the island, cut the lawns at the Romany Caravan, strimmed all the paths and the pontoon as well as the lawn edges, constructed Ariadne as a water feature (will see tomorrow if it works when the sun comes out), Mended the lights in the main garden, mended the lights at the front of the house which I cut when I Strimmed the front of house,  failed to mend the river lights - (have no idea!), mended the caravan lights that I may have broken when trying to winch the tractor out of the mud and pulled a sapling out of the ground, Sunk the hole for the main gates and cemented it is, also cemented the woodshed steps and a loose slab on the patio, 
meanwhile Susie did her strawberry beds, lots of housework, grouted the shower, washed the curtains, a good day
