12th March 2025 - Work Day

Thought for the day :"When I saw a guy spill all his Scrabble letters on the road, I asked him “What’s the word on the street?”"

Wet (though dry enough to work but rained early)

2025 : Wet 31 : Dry 39

Day with Chris today and most of the work was in roofing and edging tin sheets on the wood stores

However Susie was out and with a little assistance with the Chain Saw and Chris removing blocks and foliage - she managed to clear the entrance to the Springs and free up the broken down trees that were squashed - mainly variegated something or other (Abelia crossed Grandiflora)  and berberis

Once again we have a whole area which will be able to flourish without the tree canopy - no idea what may pop out.

 

Seems my Chain saw will be able to clear this section 

We have some logs ready for seating and stands 

Can't really see it here but we have Charlie and Spot's Chicken run which we are trying to set up at the back as a cover for the woodpile - work in progress

  

And then onto the Wood Stores

And the final solution 

Still  have to screw the rest of the roof down and a couple of panels at the back and the job will be done
