And so we managed to get Squeak Peas's foot uncluttered from the build up of muck that had formed around her bent claw - she was very good and allowed me to hold her as Susie soaked her claw and pulled the obstruction off
In other work in the garden - went to Brynhoffnant and wonderful store that they are - they had a bicycle repair pack for £1.99 - which meant that I was able to repair the puncture in the wheelbarrow - even though I have bought a new tyre on line which arrives Wednesday. It is okay to have a spar e for the future! Was interesting trying to use spoons as tyre levers !
Also attacked the bush half way down the slope .. failed to get to the top of it last year so got he ladder out today and gave it a good hacking - will have to pick the leaves up tomorrow
Toby was on patrol and inspecting
And Susie cleared some of the top bed
Inspected the raised beds and there is work to be done in repairing four of the beds
And finally, moved the cement mixer to the center of the beergarden where it can have a pallet cage built around it and leave easy access to the machinery shed
In other thoughts :
Saw an interesting thought today. It suggested that we should live a life style that means that you don't want or need to go on holiday ...
Actually, may have got there !
Can't think where I would prefer to be ..
