Trip to Carmarthen today to take Vic his washing though could not get to see him 

Instead went to Charlies and spent a load of money on heather and weedkiller and not sure what else - but that is Charlies for you - at least I did not buy another Dragon !

Susie started fixing the gate to the Paddock  - battery ran out of the screwdriver so job for tomorrow

I cleared some bags of rubbish and chopped some wood - But took some photos of the seeds in the Sowing room - sure Susie will show what they are in due course..

21st March 2021 - Census Day

Thought for the day :"I visited the birthplace of the man who invented the toothbrush. There’s no plaque."

Sunday and nice weather. Scrambled eggs and a walk up the lane with the dog. Then a day clearing the fence by the pontoon. Susie finished her potato and and started on the three sisters bed - Squash, Corn and Climbing Beans. Also cleared a section of the Trolls Waterfall for find a rockery...

Eye still very itchy and sore - but second day without any medication so feeling quite positive...

20th March 2021 - Drains !

So, Nan and TJ arrived today in a surprise visit - very welcome and we did the grand tour of the estate..

Out with the drain rods today - the blockage in the sinks seemed to have progressed to the toilet and so we lifted the man-holes!!

Well that was very smelly and fragrance candles have been necessary all evening to try to get the whiff out of the bathroom   - but it seems to be getting there ..

Susie dug her potato plot today and mixed in the compost though it is still very wet and heavy.

Chickens may be on reprieve from the 31st March - so will have to finish the Duck pond Susie reminds me - no peace for the wicked...

le of the blue tits may be looking at the nest boxes - though the tea pots have not had any interest at the moment - put some hair out for the birds for nesting - I seem to moult quite a lot and Susie broke up some small twigs that a sparrow was trying to lift and failing - and ignored completely afterwards... We shall see what happens !

18th March 2021 - another day passes

Not sure where yesterday went ..

Today was much of the same - slept until midday which was a relief from the shingles ,,
Susie was out clearing the lower peacock area from brambles for a few hours...
Dog was happy to stay with me 
Walked up to the The Donkey Fields and did a little clearing - 

but not much really
