2025 Wet 2 - Dry 1
Very cold this morning with a good frost.
Let the chickens and ducks out but went back to bed until lunchtime.
Susie hasn't manage to get out all day again, her chest is really hacking and we are trying sliced ground ginger with honey and lemon now.
Went down to Tremain to see about my chainsaw to find out that the bearing had damaged and the cogs had bitten into the casing and ruptured the oil feed. Not repairable at cost sadly.
Bought a new Chain Saw Husqvarna 14" for £225
Noted for warranty purposes - bought from Glan Thomas Garden Supplies.
Volvo working well, and though still vulnerable to condensation in this weather, seems to be drying well.
Decided today may be the last day to have the Christmas Lights on - although it is not the twelfth day, and may do the same with the other decorations tomorrow.
Somehow not really in the Christmas Spirit.
To celebrate Tolkien's birthday at 9pm on the 3rd January you lift a glass and say "The Professor"
according to the Tolkien Society... Seems legit
