6th February 2026 - Changing the lighting

Took the garden lighting down as it is not really being used and is just getting wetter and more likely to need changing. Decided to put it up the lane where we walk the dogs at night so we do not have to carry the torch for the whole way ..

2nd February 2026 - Landrover Problems

Thought for the day :"I’m at that age where if I blink slowly enough it can turn into a nap."

Decided to get the Landrover through its MOT so it has been on charge for a couple of days to get the engine started properly. Took it for a run to makes sure everything is working okay and found that the ignition would not turn off !!! Thought it was a bit strange when I was charging it as the ignition light stayed on even when the key was not present.

Took it up to Jay and Tom to get it looked over and to take it to the MOT tomorrow ..

Found that mice have been into the wiring loom !!

Hoping that it is not too bad - but will not get the MOT tomorrow - hoping for next week 

Not good !!
